Marie is a French director and photographer whose own experience cooking taught her to embrace textures and imperfections, inspiring her to create appetizing visual narratives with a fresh mood and a sense of humanity. She obtained her MFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts; prior to which she studied law and English literature at Cambridge University and Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. Marie channels her passion for cooking and filming into the webseries she writes and directs, My life in sourdough (TriBeCa Film Festival 2015). She was featured in SHOOT’s New Directors Showcase 2016. Based in NY, happy to travel.
