nick fuglestad

Nick is a classically trained photographer with a passion for combining his craft and the latest innovative technology. His creative journey began when he served as a photo assistant for Tcherevkoff in New York City. From there Nick’s pursuit led him to Los Angeles where he designed state-of-the-art lighting equipment, motion picture camera rigging and special effects for Shotmaker Lightmaker. He returned to Manhattan and spent the following 8 years as Michael Somoroff’s lighting designer while forging his career as one of the premier tabletop directors in the industry. His motivated problem-solving skills result in memorable, mouthwatering images and cutting-edge visuals.

Nick’s commercial resume includes work for McDonald’s, Carlsberg, Taco Bell, Longhorn Steakhouse, Subway, Boar’s Head and Gillette among others. He currently lives in Downtown Manhattan with his wife and children. In the rare moments you find Nick without a camera in-hand, he enjoys woodworking, charcoal drawing, playing acoustic guitar and a few shifts on the ice rink.
